Kelly R. Maney is a third-year law student at Albany Law School.

Prior to attending law school, Kelly graduated Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology.

While at Law School, Kelly served as a teaching assistant for Torts and Property and as an Associate Board Member for the Anthony V. Cardona Moot Court Program. Kelly is also the treasurer for the Women’s Law Caucus.

Kelly was a Summer Associate at Harris Beach Murtha for both her 1L and 2L summers.

Kathryn Doner will graduate from Albany Law School in December 2026. Before matriculating at Albany Law, Kathryn graduated summa cum laude from Providence College, where she majored in Sociology and Global Studies, and minored in Black Studies and Latin American Studies. Throughout her undergraduate years, Kathryn presented at various sociological conferences, which culminated in the publication of “Seventy Years Later: Caste in the Indian Bureaucracy.”

Between college and law school, Kathryn interned in the Financial Crimes and Homicide Bureaus at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Additionally, Kathryn was a judicial intern for Justice Christopher Quinn before interning at the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County.

Jude Klein is a third-year law student at Albany Law School. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University at Albany with a bachelor’s degree in history.

Jude currently serves as Executive Editor for Notes and Comments on the Albany Law Review. She is also the Student Outreach Coordinator for the Veterans Pro Bono Project and the secretary of Albany Law School’s theater club.

Jude's Law Review note,“Public Funds, Private Schools: the Coercive Power Public Funds Wield Over Private Secondary Schools,” will be published in Albany Law Review’s Volume 90.

Last summer, Jude interned at a boutique criminal defense firm in Manhattan.

Julia J. Battista is a second-year student at Albany Law School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Geneseo with dual degrees in Political Science and History, where she was recognized for academic excellence in History. Prior to law school, she was a member of Teach for America, Colorado. Additionally, she worked in Galicia, Spain as an English Language Assistant.

In the summer of 2026, she interned with the Chambers of Hon. Adam W. Silverman in the Albany County Supreme Court. She currently serves as a subeditor on the Albany Law Review, a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Lawyering, and as President of Yoga & Wellness Club. Outside of school, she enjoys connecting with nature and her community.

Caroline A. Serio is a second-year law student at Albany Law School. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany with a major in political science and a concentration in public law.

Currently, Caroline is an associate member of the Anthony Cardona Moot Court Board and works as a student ambassador in Albany’s admissions office. This past summer, Caroline worked as a summer associate at The D’Amato Law Group where she will continue working through the semester.

Olivia L. Vataj is a second-year law student at Albany Law School. Prior to attending law school, Olivia earned her bachelor’s degree at Binghamton University, where she double-majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Law and Environmental Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Olivia interned for the Putnam County departments of Probation and Social Services and served as her university’s interfaith coordinator.

Currently, Olivia is a legal intern for the Community Economic Development Clinic at the Justice Center, a sub-editor for the Journal of Science and Technology, and a Government Law Center fellow. This past summer, Olivia interned for the Office of Chief Prosecutor for the United States Coast Guard.
